| Training Courses
The Federation provides the following courses for members and non-members alike. For information about the various types of training available please click on the links below:
* Online Dangerous Goods IMDG Code Training CLICK HERE Amendments have been made to Chapter 1.3 of the IMDG Code (2008 edition). Part of this amendment requires mandatory training of shore based and sea going personnel involved in the transport of dangerous goods by sea.
* BioSecurity Training Courses CLICK HERE MAF Accredited Person Training and Transitional Facility Operator Training are conducted in conjunction with IVS (Independent Varification Services).
* Customs, IATA, Dangerous Goods, Freight Forwarding and Tariff Courses CLICK HERE These face to face training courses are conducted in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
* RACA (Regulated Air Cargo Agent) Online Training CLICK HERE This course is designed to assist you in achieving the basic skills and knowledge required to work in the Regulated Air Cargo environment. It will also assit you in achieving the knowledge and skills needed to effectively carry out the air cargo security functions of a Registerd Air Cargo Agent (RACA).
* PIN Course CLICK HERE If you are wishing to become a Customs Broker and lodge your own documentation with NZ Customs you require a New Zealand Customs Unique User Identifier (UUI), more commonly known as a Personal Identification Number (PIN). Once you have completed these courses and passed the associated exams you will obtain your PIN.
