National launch of the Warriors FAI Finance cheerleaders.
Background: FAI Finance, a business subsidiary of Hanover Group Limited appointed Markom PR Limited to publicise the launch of the Warriors FAI Finance cheerleaders.
Strategy: To alert media to the launch and generate wide spread coverage for the cheerleaders and sponsor.
Objectives: To penetrate TV, press and radio newsrooms with the aim of achieving as much exposure as possible for the Warriors FAI Finance cheerleader launch.
Primary Media Target: TVNZ TV1 6.00pm Network News - March 20th & 24th TV3 6.00pm Network News - March 20th & 21st SKY News Channel 28 - March 20th & 21st SKY Sport - March 24th
Secondary Media Target: Radio and national print media.
Results: The cheerleaders were televised on three different TV networks which achieved over $100,000 worth of primetime television coverage for FAI Finance.
More guest TV appearances have been confirmed in the coming months.
Radio publicity to date includes an interview with Pam Corkery, breakfast host on Radio Pacific - with a cumulative audience in exceeding 100,000. More radio interviews have been planned with the major networks over the next 7 days.
Print coverage rolled out over 8 weeks - featuring stories about the cheer squad in publications ranging from New Idea to Metro magazine.
